the annual general meeting of INTERCARGO

The annual general meeting of INTERCARGO takes place in the APEX hotel in the city of London, United Kingdom. Mr. Alexandros Tsakos attended the meeting on behalf of Entrust Maritime Co. Ltd. where he placed his vote concerning the working programme of INTERCARGO which involves, but is not limited to, the 1) ongoing problem of piracy and its threat to seafarers, 2) shipping air emissions, 3) the extreme loading rates of bulk carriers, 4) the necessity to benchmark PSC inspections and 5) the need to upgrade reception facilities onboard carriers.

It was formally announced and agreed in the annual general meeting that Mr. Rob Lomas will become the new Secretary General of INTERCARGO
while Mr. Roger Holt will take the position of Consultant Director.

Moreover, Ms. Eleni Plessa will become Assistant Manager of INTERCARGO.

Entrust Maritime Co. Ltd., now also an official member of INTERCARGO, extends its heartfelt congratulations to the new duties of all management members mentioned above.
